Has anybody ever used H322 for .223 REM?  I can get some but I have never used it.  I will be using it in a Dillon 550 so how does it meter?  How clean/dirty is it? And what is your overall impression with it?  Thanks for your replies.

EDIT:  I will be using Hornady 55 grain bullets

I used H322 for a bench gun and I absolutly loved it.  I didn't use my Dillon when loading for that rifle though so I can't comment on how it meters.

I started out reloading using H322 and no matter what I
did, I couldn't get it to meter worth a lick out of my Dillon
650.  I've since switched to H335, which is a more
spherical powder and it meters much better.

FWIW, I took my powder drop apart and polished out the
bowl, giving it a mirror finish and that helps a lot, just not
enough for the H322 for my taste.

I've been using H322 for the past month or so and since I'm a new reloader (Dillon 550B) I've been weighing every charge and my Dillon has been spot for my loads.  I may have cheated a little though because I'm also using a UniqueTek powder measure accessory.

Usually very accurate in small capacity cases. Was a favorite powder in 6mmPPC and .222 benchrest before VihtaVuori showed up. I think something like 23.5 grains would work very well in .223 with 52/53 grain match bullets. Work up a load and let us know how it does.
