Having a hard time finding unprocessed LC 308 brass at a good price.

Lots of processed stuff out there with less than great prices and/or widely varying trim lengths.

I usually recommend Arm or Ally (formerly Monmouth Reloading) for once fired GI brass, but they’re out of 7.63 LC.  They have mixed military brass in stock.

I'm looking for expander(s) for Hornady American series .270 die. Hornady website says the "internal spindles, expanders and seating stems are interchangeable with other brands on the market", but all I have found are the type that are "bullet" shaped, and those have different sized threads. This is what I'm looking for:

I don't reload .44, however I use Bayou for my 9mm and .40 S&W.  They aren't too bad for 1000 .44's at $112 + shipping. May want to consider Gallant (new comer) however be advised that their shipping can be slow at times.

HI,

yesterday i put up a post for where to find a good hazmat deal.

i just found something. Recob`s Target shop came up in a search for win. 244 powder i was looking for.
i only wanted 1 lb because i dont know if i`ll like it or not and no one local has any.

so on Recob, i placed an order for 1lb of it, filled out the information for purchasing just to see what it would cost to ship.

the powder was 22$ and the ups ship was 13.99...thats it. so if that was there hazmat fee it was a better deal than
any other place i could find. now, unless they would call or email me that their web site order form didn`t compute
the hazmat when placing the order...i shoud be gtg. but i did get an email confirmation for the order that seems to be ok.

only reason for buying this was locally there was none and both places said they did not plan on ordering any.

i see?

well, got a call today from them. they said powder was new and had not been put on the hazmat list yet for retail.

needless to say, i cancelled.

When they had (as Monmouth Reloading) a presence here in Central Texas, one of the principles actually met me in person, on a Saturday morning (his day off), to let me buy a 1k bag of bullets in person, instead of having to pay and wait for for shipping.  That sold me on them.

Later I found a great deal on once-fired LC 7.62 NATO brass from them that turned out to be a really great deal.  It was 1300 rounds for just a small amount over their price for 1000.  I wound up with over 1200 of the cases having the same LC year headstamp, and all were in exceptional shape - scooped up from clean ranges and just boxed up.

So I'll say "yes," Arm or Ally is really good to go.

Nosler / Shooters Pro Shop has 1000 ct boxes of either 69gr or 77gr BTHP Custom Competition bullets that are listed as over runs for $150, which isn’t a bad deal in and of itself, but through the 12th if you submit credentials and verify veteran status you get an additional 15% off and there is free shipping on orders over $100. I just ordered 1000 77gr BTHPs for $128 delivered.

77gr here

69gr here

The credential verification is quick and only takes a few minutes as it is done third party.

This is a reasonably good deal, but all should be advised the necks are absolutely caked with tar sealant. I bought some and I regret it.

A better deal is the factory primed new Wolf brass that sells for $.12-.14/case. Presently $35/250 but sometimes on sale for $30/250:

Any good Black-Friday sales on primers?  Heck, you can get .22LR ammo now for 2.5 cents/round delivered right now, with the Federal Rebates; that's a complete round (with priming) for cheaper than I can find primers on-line for!  I'm thinking for sure somebody is going to start dumping primers - let me know when you see 'em!
