I am about to buy 16lbs of powder, but they don't have Ramshot TAC that I usually use. What would be the best overall powder to buy out of the following:
H335 H322 W748 AA2230 It will mainly be 55gr-75gr 223 for my AR, but could also be for 40gr 22-250. I also reload 30-30, 7 mag, 243 but those aren't as big of a concern to me... mainly reloading for the AR. Thanks for any input. |

All worked fine, don't know about the heavier bullets. |

Probably the best way to choose would be to..............
Pick up 1 pound each............ Then, test them w/ your rifles in the various calibers. THEN.........buy in bulk, the power that YOU liked the best. You may have to compromise. That's life. _______________________________ ME.......I don't have that much indecision in my life. _______________________________ I would have just picked up an 8 pound keg of W748 and not look back. At least I know it works for ME in .308 Winchester and .223 Rem. I know that it may not be THE BEST choice. Because, everyone has their own favorites and opinion(s). I realize that.............and I can dig it. Life goes on. Aloha, Mark |
