I've run about 1000 through my SW99 40 cal and I like them but the coating plates out on the barrel pretty good. Since I've got a stainless barrel I used their suggested vinegar and hydrogen peroxide mix to soak the barrel and it all came out. I was thinking about getting some for my new 45 but the barrel isn't stainless and I'm worried about not being about to get the barrel clean. the V/HP isn't suggested for regular barrels. Prior to trying the V/HP mix I tried ISSO bore paste and Butch's bore shine. Neither got the junk out.

I used Precision bullets for years.  They work best at low to medium velocities.  You might also want to look at Rainier plated bullets.  Midway has a sale going on until the end of the month on them.

Bore Tech Moly Magic works. This is 12 bucks for 4 oz, but they have a pint for 19 which is out of stock at the moment. Midway used to stock it, no more.

I used them for several years and over 50K of them . They are much better than standard lead and tend to foul less .

I've fired about 4000 in my Springfield .45ACP XD.  I find them a good bullet but don't like the price anymore.  Ranier bullets can be found at close to the same price and you don't have to worry about the fancy black coating.  The fouling is minor in my barrel.  I don't think its much of an issue if you make them the only bullet you shoot.

You may want to follow their advice for powders.  They don't recommend Tightgroup and it smoked in my loads.
