Good for you (and him)!

I suggest you consider keeping the .30-'06 die set.  The ctg is very common, and It might come in handy some day.  The shell holder is the same as for .45ACP and .308.

Is this an old Lee Loader (no press needed)? If so, I would love to take it off your hands. PM me if you are interested in trading it.

Was at gun shop today and guy was making purchase. He asked clerk at gun shop if he knew of anyone that was into reloading. Clerk shook his head no, and the guy started for the door. I followed him out and started talking with him. Told me he had complete set up, and so on and so on. I Said I would like to take a look, but was on my way to pick up daughter from daycare. He offered to meet me somewhere. So we arranged time, and he met me at a Walmart parking lot. (Halfway between his house and mine). This is everything he had. (Hope I get everything right, I am new to reloading)
I asked what he wanted for everything, and he said. How about 100 bucks. Seemd like a deal, So I bought it.

You know you got a deal!

Only downside is getting rid of the stuff you don't need, but tht'll more than pay for what you paid for the stuff

The tumbler is worth close to $100 if it's in good condition.

Thanks guys.

I was thinking I got a deal, but wasn't quite sure. Had no idea what going rate of anything was.

I have noticed on ebay that die sets were going for 20-75 bucks on ebay.

The ones I got have never been opened, except for the 30-06 and 9mm.

Tumbler appears to be in good shape as does all of the other stuff.

Have to start cleaning out space in shed to make a work area. Maybe just build a new larger shed, and build a littlle room in it.

Anyone got any advice on starting? Have done quite a bit of reading last night after purchase.

Kind of think that I will start with already primed brass to be safe right now. While I get started and learn.

One thing I did not see while reading was about powder and primer storage. Any Recommendations?

Don't sweat the priming operation.  It's no big deal.  Just don't point the case towards anything sensitive while priming,  I've never had a primer explode for me, and when I started, I crunched 'em down pretty hard to make sure they were seated.

Primer and powder needs to be stored in a reasonable cool place.  Leave primers in the original packaging to keep them separated.  Don't put primers or powder in tightly sealed containers, they need to vent in case of a fire.  Store the black powder in the shed as it is explosive.
