I have some Magtech small rifle primers, No. 7 1/2. Could they be used for .308?

.308 uses "large rifle" primers

The small rifle primers be too small to fit the large rifle primer pocket of the .308.

I think you need to do a bit more study.

Some one has a whole lot more didatic work to be done before they start reloading! UFDA!

Im just trying to get the supplies. Since primers are a scarcity, I thought I could shave a corner to start reloading. Its sad because I bought a new rifle and cant even shoot it because I cant find half the parts to build it the way I want it! Stupid politics.
