[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 62 gr. AP M855 Reloading Data????

Try as I might, I have been looking for reloading data on the 62 grain AP green tip M855 bullet, but to no avail. I have searched for this particular bullet via Google, Yahoo, Hodgdon, Sierra, Winchester, Hornady etc. and I have not found any data to this date. I am using Hodgdon H335 powder and CCI #450 Magnum Small Rifle Primers. Does anyone know where I can find a data chart, or any sort of data so I can load these particular bullets?? Thanks much for any help.

Find the muzzle velocity of M855 ammo, then work up a safe load that duplicates the speed.

I'll bet you can find some information in the Reloading References.

Sierra has 63 grain data. Start there.

I use 25.0 grains of W748. 2,825 fps.
