OK well I pulled the trigger on a Hornady Single stage press(it was on clearance for 100 bucks.. so i figured that was a good deal). They didnt have any shell holders(hornaday) but they did have lee and RCBS. Would those work in my press?

Yes.  Shelholders and dies are standardized.

Ahh OK.. The lee ones were a few bucks cheaper. They have RCBS dies... I was looking at getting some carbite so I can ease up on case lubing.. But who knows. I'm not looking to buy dies and the rest of my reloading equiptment about a month or so.

In pistol calibers, always get the carbide dies.

Saves lubing and delubing.

Just like with dies...........any brand of shell holder from any major mfn should in theory work with your press.

I say "in theory" cause sometimes there are people who complain of a mis-match.

BTW, I own a RCBS Rock Chucker...........so, I can't say for your brand of press.  But, I've used different brands of shell holders with my RCBS if that means anything.

That being said, I wouldn't be afraid to buy another mfn's shell holder.

Anyway........IF you buy the LEE PaceSetter die set is comes with the shellholder and FCD, in addition to the two regular dies.
