I just started to load for my AR15's.  I noticed some bullets on GunBroker that were M855 Pulled Bullets.  Does anyone have experience with these bullets.  Are they of good quality.  They are mostly advertised as being pulled, resized, with a few pull marks.  With the .223 component scare are these of good value?  Also I have some true M855 Loaded Rounds.  They are painted green Tips.  I was told the paint goes on after the round is complete and passes inspection.  If this is true, I'm assuming the pulled bullets are from ammo that did not pass inspection and the bullets were pulled from those cases for one reason or another?  Your thoughts.

Thanks

Because the steel penetrator inside usually isn't perfectly centered in the M855 bullets they wobble a bit during rotation.  Therefore, they aren't quite as accurate as a bullet with a consistently dense core.  Other than that, if they aren't squished out of round badly and/or have large gashes from the puller, they'll be GTG.

I have loaded and shot these with good results. No worry. Just use the right load data.
