I searched and could not find my answer.

I'm jst getting into this and I want to purchase some components. I am going to get all my books and do more research before I actually reload, but I want to get a few things right now so when I'm ready to reload I don't have to wait for stuff that is on backorder or pay double what I can for right now.

Primers for 45 and 9mm.

I assume 45 is large pistol and 9mm is small pistol is this correct???

To your question, yes, 45 ACP uses the Large Pistol primers and 9mm uses the Small Pistol primers. Welcome to reloading.
