Description:

This gage measures from the case-head to the datum line on the case shoulder, allowing proper resizing for a precise fit with your chamber. Bushings fit the comparator body and attach to calipers with a thumb screw. Can be used on bottleneck cases from 17 caliber through belted magnums.

Hornady has some photos on their web site that show the bushings installed on a caliper and in use.

As a new reloader I had the same question.

rg1 that article is really great in explaining the use of the Hornady gauges. Thanks for the link.
