I'm in an apartment and space is limited.

I'm considering a Lee Turrent press set-up and wondered if anyone has used one of these or had any input, thanks.

I have no experience with this Workmate, but when I was in an apartment, I mounted the press to a thick piece of plywood and clamped it to the kitchen table. I have seen other people use the Workmate with no trouble. Nice thing about the plywood/clamp is that it can be removed and put in the closet when not in use.  and doesn't take up as much room as the Workmate.

well I liked that it was a small workmate, could just stash it on the patio when not in use. I thought about the kitchen table thing but haven't asked the better half about it...lol

I had my single stage mounted on a 2' 2X4 and used a workmate for several years. My Lee Classic Turret is too wide to mount on a 2X4 so a permanent bench was built.

It may be too wide for a 2X4, but what about a 2X6 or 2X8?  As long as you can secure it with the Workmate's clamping parts, it should work fine.  You may need to do something to weigh down the "bench top" that results from this, or your press will be a bit unstable.  I have a cheap knock-off clone of a Workmate that I turned into a "folding bench" for some loading processes, and it works adequately except for the tendency to move around a little unless I put some serious weight on it.

I guess I'll have to look at it and see if a 2x6 would work, thanks guys for the input.

I started reloading w/a cheapo Lee single stage, bolted to a 2X4, clamped to a folding saw horse. It's maybe 6 inches wide at the deepest, maybe 3.5 feet up w/legs folded. I only reloaded pistol so it didn't need a lot of force.
I used it for about 4 years; still have it!

I have a Workmate knockoff and it is plenty strong.  Go for it!
