| What is the max load for reloder 15 shooting a 155 gr bullet in a 308? Thanks guys |
| MAX load in one rifle may not be MAX load in someone else's rifle,it best to start low and work your way up to fine which load works best in your particular rifle, looking for pressure sign as you go. MAX load is not always best I find most of my accuracy loads are below the max load, all the velocity in the world isn't worth a hill of beans if you cant hit you target on a consistent basis. |

I'll probably regret this: The maximum charge weight will be in the neighborhood of 48 grains of RE-15. That means that is my estimate based on data off the Alliant web site. It's the only information I have close at hand right now. Im not starting at max load. I started at 41gr and found that my gun shoots great with 45.4gr. I only asked because my manuals did not show for that grain bullet and I wanted to make sure I was below max. Thanks |

As already mentioned, Max loads vary rifle to rifle.
Hell, look at the Speer #13 Manual in comparison to the Sierra Manulas for .308. How can two published data's have two different conclusions as to max? (One more than one load the Speer's loads start near the end of the Sierra's loads.) |
