How is the quality of the Redding Model No.2 Powder & Bullet Scale for a beam scale? Are these worth the $70 they sell for on MidwayUSA.com?

IMO, if I were to spend that much I would buy a digital/ electronic scale. But, for a beam scale I bought a Lyman 500 from the EE for $15 delivered.

It is a good quality scale.  I don't know if it is any better that the RCBS beam scales or not but it is definitely a good scale.

I actually got it for $18.50, I'm also buying a digital scale. I want to be able to double check everything.

Great buy then, I too am searching for an affordable didgital scale.

Just getting back into reloading after 20 years I am still somewhat very cautious with the procedures. I am weighing each charge for now and using a single stage....

Ideally I want to get my reloading equipment as cheap as I can so far I'm doing a good job of it. For my press RC IV, tumbler, rcbs media seperator, and this scale it has cost me $48. I can't complain about that.
