Here I thought that I got one of the good ones since my CM1500 hasn't given me any problems for over 2 years now. Tonight I go to calibrate it and the buttons on the scale would not work correctly. You press ZERO and the CAL fundtion comes on. On the dispenser, you press the number 2 and it come up on the screen as a 3. Press 5 and it shows 6..... I remember reading about other members having similar problems with this scale. Does anyone remember if there's a fix without having to box it up and sending it back to RCBS? DAMMIT!  I have a match tomorrow and stupid me waits till the last second! AHHH!

Thanks for the replies guys! As for the phone...I don't believe they are in tonight.  BUT! Get this, I decided to troubleshoot it. Tried the ususal power down, power disconnect...etc... and nothing worked. I separated the scale from the dispenser and with it apart the button problem was still there on the scale. So what the hell, I took the scale apart. I never actually pulled apart any connectors, I just un-screwed the parts from the frame and put it back together and.... SHAAAAZAAAM! It started working!  Don't know if I what I did helped to adjust the buttons, but something sure changed.  I calibrated the scale, checked it with known test weights, and checked several (10) charges against a RCBS 505 scale. All were right on. w00t!
