the hood is for light & to suck out fumes when I start casting, in the near future... and anything that I might use that has a smell. I'm going to build a top that will fit over the sink, and hold the equipment. Guys thanks for the all compliments. I could not have gotten this far without, all your help from these forums. |
That hood looks like it's a ductless unit to me. I would never cast lead inside my house even using a vented hood. If you do duct it outside it would be sweet when using the ultrasonic cleaner. The room looks very nice, congrats! |
Vents out the back yes sir.... actually looking into enclosing it with like glass doors maybe. |

There is no room in my house that clean and tidy. Do you have an obsessive/compulsive disorder? Seriously that is one very nice setup. I wish I had the spare room, personality, and cash for a setup like that. All you need to add is an underground tube 50 yards out into the backyard for testing. |

Nice setup So do the shelves meet the SAAMI fire code of more then 20 lbs of powder needing to be in a wooden box or cabinet having walls of at least 1-inch nominal thickness? I wasn't sure since you only have three sides. Not that I care but I have a buddy who bitches at me all the time for not having a box. |
not completed yet but yes on the hot water. and it's a overhead door company rollup 10', I keep a rincon & a foreman behind it, for right now. check out my temporary scaffold walk boards for my ramps |
