Note:  sometimes, just cause you happen to have a powder, it doesn't mean that it's "right" for the application.............

OK.....so you're shooting a semi auto.

Personally............I'd use these loads (If you don't get an answer from Ramshot)..............

Recommended .30 caliber M1 loadings from the NRA

147 - 155 grain FMJ or HPBT bullets

IMR 3031 - 48.0 grains
IMR 4895 - 49.0 grains
IMR 4064 - 50.0 grains
W748 - 48.0 grains
AA2460 - 49.0 grains
AA2520 - 51.0 grains
AA2495 - 50.5 grains
H4895 - 49.0 grains
BLC-2 - 49.0 grains
H335 - 49.0 grains
RL-12 - 48.0 grains

For any .30-06 semi auto, I would not use TAC.

Look at:

IMR-4064
IMR-4895
H-4895
AA-2495

This, I'm starting to load .30-06 for a 742 in 06 and will start in a month or two loading .280 Rem for a 740, I asked the same basic question about 2 months ago.

.280 is a bit different than .30-06.  Look at IMR-4064 for your 740.

I hadn't planned on which powder for the .280 yet, why the IMR4064 recommendation?

Because it is a bit slower than 4895, but still usable in semi-auto's.

You'll safely get 2,900 fps+ with 140 gr bullets and 2,800 fps + with 150gr/154gr bullets.

For most non dangerous game under 500 lbs, this is more than enough.
