Which one do the reloaders like best.  Ok, maybe not the best forum, but ya'lls opinions are the ones I want.

Dillon carries the Lyman digital for 60 bucks

What do you think is best?

Thanks

Maybe some eggs sinkers and some string. Seems cheaper.

That is the one I have.

Very nice.

MidwayUSA is cheaper.  I sure dont remember paying that much for it!

ETA

Google around.  About $10-12 too much from Dillion.

Midway is $49
Cheaper if you have your C&R FFL.

Yep yep, the egg sinker technique is a winner. Tie a QD swivel or just a regular barrel swivel to a piece of string and weigh it. Then tie it to the trigger. Then Get another piece of string and tie it to the other side of the qd/barrel swivel, and start adding eggs sinkers. They tell you how many ounces they weigh, but this is what you do...
Once you have added enough weight to make the trigger break, weigh the sinkers and then if you want to get even more precise, you can substitute an egg sinker for some split shot. Weigh one piece of split shot and add it to the line. Incrementally add split shot until the trigger breaks. Go to a tackle store and spend all of $3 on some sinkers and string.

If you are a gunsmith this is a mundane way of doing things, and it makes more sense to just buy the fancy digital gauge. If you are like me and have a lot of free time and not a lot of free money, this is the ticket.

I went to wally world and bought a small fish scale for $2.50 then used an old coat hanger to connect to trigger.  It works good enough for anything I need.
