newer than noob..... What bullet would i buy for .223? I see alot of 22 caliber. Is that what i need. I want a 62 gr. Does it have to say .223 caliber to work? Thanks for the help, just getting into this reloading biz.

will a .224 or does it have to say .223?

There are several different diameter bullets in the .22 range for different calibers.  For the .223 Remington / 5.56mm, the correct bullet diameter is .224 inch.

Just about all .22 cal rifles are .224.  Older .22 hornets were .223

A good manuel will go along way.  ABC's of Reloading and Lyman are 2 of the best.

Lots of info at the top of the forum.  Suggest reading this.

When you do get a manuel, read, read, and read again.  It is important to understand the process of reloading before you start.

easiest and cheapest bullets to reload are 55 gr FMJ's.  Hornady's are considered the best and can be bought in bulk
