RCBS Pro 2000.  I've used them all and ther are no bad presses but the RCBS is the easiest to learn and to use.  RCBS will be here as long as there is reloading.

Dillon makes 3 great presses, the 550B, 650 w/casefeeder, and the 1050 (4 actually but the smallest, SDB, isn't for rifle ammo so I'm not recommending it).

Start with THIS discussion of each of the Dillon presses and a good discussion on the strengths of each.  Also good discussion of which you should get based upon your individual needs.

You're all wrong. The best progressive is...

C&H builds fine presses, but not a progressive.

IMO it's a toss up between Dillon and Hornady. Owning both I give the edge to Dillon.

Since $$ is not a problem......buy one press for each caliber.   Because, I hate to switch over dies and stuff to make a simple caliber change.

How's that.....for spending someone else's money?

Well...if money isn't a problem buy your own ammo factory--automated loader

Otherwise, Dillon Precision

Been reloading for over 30 years. Started with Lyman single stage progressed to RCBS JR, then Rock Chucker.  Had the evil Green Machine for .38 spc wad cutters.  Did the RCBS 2000 progressive.  Settled on the Dillon XL650 for my .223 and .45 loading and RCBS Rock Chucker for everything else.  Dillon 1050 is nice but doesn't have lifetime warranty.
