I don't care for the looks of the Stock Stock (no pun intended) that came on my GSG. So, when I got it, I bought retractable stock from Ebay (Supremearms). Yes I know some don't care for the plastic quality of that particular stock, but it works okay and I really wanted the option to collapse the rife for easier carrying in my pcikup etc.
But, I am about 6'2" and I find this retractable stock just too short for me at it's longest notch. It's a full 1 1/2" inches shorter than the oem stock. Today I put my original stock back, and suddenly it made the gun shootable. I struggled with the short stock even with a red dot. I was just oscrunched up. My question is.drumroll..........
Is there a longer collapsible stock out there? Does anyone know? Am I the only one that can't get comfy with this shortie stock? I put a rubber buttbad over it and it helped some, but still too short, and butt ugly.
Just wondering if there are longer retractable stocks out there. Oh, and I don't want a folding stock.  I know probably everyone that owns one might only have knowledge of their own particular stock. But I thought ai would ask here. Otherwise I guess it's back to the oem stock for me
Thanks for your time

Gee thanks for all the interest..lol. is that a taboo question? Or do 66 of you just not have an answer? I guess a folding stock is my only option? Or maybe find a more active forum? I do own an AR15 too.

GSG does not manufacture a longer retractable stock than standard original MP-5 design nor do they have plans to.  You'd prob need to find a US OEM company....  Sorry.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will keep the original then. I do appreciate the response. I love the gun, and I love the retractable stocks no matter the brand. I just can't seem to scrunch enuff to get comfortable even with a red dot.
Have a great day Sir.

I also wanted a longer tele-stock, I just added a rubber  butt-pad off an AIM folding stock, adds about an inch.

I made my own retractable stock for my "P".  I used an airsoft ar style stock and steel tubing and rod.  It slides into place using The channels on the sides of the GSG.

I can take a picture of it.  I need to figure out how to attach the picture though so give me a minute.  It expands from 7" to 11" long.

of course, since I own a P and a PK I cannot install it on my guns.

hopefully this link takes you to my FLICKR account and a pic of the retractable stock.  I can say, it is solid as it is made from steel.  Also, it was made to perfectly fit the GSG.  I had to reinforce the legs with the "straddle" piece that goes up and over the top of the rifle.  I use a red dot and it does not get int he way.

Okay, let's try this again:

if the above does not work just cut/past this into your browser:

I would consider parting with this item, or possibly making another one that is nicer and parting with it.

Sorry it took so long to reply, but I don't hit the site as much as I used to.

Yes, there IS a longer retractable stock for the GSG-5.

It is an all-metal stock with a rubber butt-pad that will give you about three more inches than the standard GSG retractable stock.

It is $75.00 retail.

The Zairsoft all-metal stock works as advertised as it has a third notch that gives it about another two inches when extended.
With the extra half-inch rubber butt-plate cushion, you get a full three inches of length over the factory stock.

It is rather wobbly at the longest setting but I used the factory plastic end-cap to reduce the wobble.

Check it out at Home > External Parts > Stocks > Zairsoft GSG-5/522 Deluxe Retractable Stock

I bought the plastic butt-plate version but would recommend the metal end-cap version if I was doing it again.

Very satisfied with mine. Good luck!

THanks for the reply.
I never saw a bad that would fit on mine except the ugly slipover one I had..lol. I need about two inches more minimum. Hitch has shown me one that might fit the bill.

Now that's what I was looking for! Thank you! You say it's 3" longer then the factory stock?? You mean the factory one piece ugly stock that came on the gun? Dang that might be too long. Or do you mean 3" longer then the GSG retractable stocks?
In the specs it doesn't give a length. But I can tell by the butt plate alone that i's nice and long.
I don't understand what you mean you used the factory plastic end cap to reduce the wobble? How is the plastic better then the metal?
Their description talks about looking the pictures, but I only see one small pic that's hard to see. How is the metal end cap different then the plastic end cap other then weight?
Their description confuses me..lol. Forgive me I am gettin old..lol
Do you have pics? Thanks for the email, I will return it. I am full of questions..
Thank you very much.

WHOOOHOOOOO!!!!!   Man you nailed it. I just got my Zairsoft part metal stock in today. It's perfect!!! 2 1/2' longer  that my old retractable at full length, 1 1/2 inches longer at the next notch in. It fit perfectly, won't break, even has a nice rubber butt bad, metal locking mechanism, it's fricken awesome! If there is a wobble it's only from the cap being a tad roomy which made it a snap to install. I could stick some silicone in there to take that tiny bit of space up, but it's not a problem so I won't. No wobble to speak of at all imo. I can't believe no one knows about this stock. I will throw away my old (totally wobbley) one immediately, it is garbage compared to this. I got the Deluxe model and its worth worth every penny!
Anyone with long arms that wants to be comfy, this is the ticket! heck even all you other guys, this is bar none the best stock on the market. The sling even stays in place..lol
I couldn't be happier!! I got the cool factor back, and its much more functional for me now too. I love it!
It's the best kept secret on th market for the GSG. There should be a pinned link about it..lol. I see everyone on youtube and the forums comparing GSG, Classic Army, different versions, but no one mentions this one. What a shame no one knows about this brand..
Thank you Hitch!!!
Here are some really bad pics sorry about eh quality and lack of imagination
here is a comparison of my old supremearms stock, with the new one extended all the way out. in this position it isn't stable it wobbles

http://www.crowshaven.com/fujipicsforweb/stockextended.jpg

But in this position, just one notch in, its very stable, and it's a perfect length for me, exactly what I was looking for, and you can see how much is added for me. Perfect!
http://www.crowshaven.com/fujipicsforweb/stockonenotchin.jpg

In this pic you can see the side rail when its all the way in, on their website they say they put 600 rounds thru it in this position and not one failed extraction or ejection. I believe them, but I won't be shooting it in this position anyway. If I had too, I could grind a little off like most models do. Not necessary IMHO
http://www.crowshaven.com/fujipicsforweb/stockin.jpg
From the left side..
http://www.crowshaven.com/fujipicsforweb/stockleftside.jpg
The only play is the end cap, but it's tiny, it doesn't effect anything. My AR's receiver rattles more than this does. When pressed against your shoulder it will disappear. I little dab or two of silicone would do away with it. I'm not messing with it. Just trying to be honest. Compared to the others I give it a 10. At least for a taller guy, it can't be beat. The little bit of added weight helps balance the rifle too.
I hope someone else beneifits from this info.
BTW, just in case you ask, I had bought a rail type foregrip, it was loose and I hated the added size, since I wasn't going to add a laser or light to it,  Idecided to toss it, and I modded the stock rubber ribbed foregrip with a rail and a grip. Works great.
That is a Primary Arms M3 multi reticle red dot scope. It's awesome.
