so I took this pic today. I bought the gun used

The barrel was rotated 180 degrees and this was opposite the extractor slot but I turned the barrel and realigned it with the extractor slot. It appears that there is a hairline fracture, I have seen pics of others with cracks but is the "wear" that I see normal? it looks like the extractor actually carves out the barrel sleeve. is this okay to fire?

I would not consider the barrel as safe, and in no way I would shoot it like that. maybe that chip is not badd but are you willing to test your luck. simple fact you have no idea when you will have complete failure and may end up hurt! contact ati and speak with them they should help get you taken care of on this for a new barrel. you may need a new extractor claw as well yours may be out of spec.
Try to contact Chris and see what he can do for you.
here is is info. give him a hot link to this topic as well or attach the photo to your message to him.
