I understand it's pretty easy, but does anyone have instructions on how to remove and replace the barrel?
I got a spare when I bought mine, and think the feed ramp may be the source of the FTF/FTEs I've been having. So I thought I'd drop the second one in and see how she works. I've got the magazines feeding smoothly, so I want to see how the new barrel will work. Cheers! M2 |

Nevermind, found the following video on U-tube and it seems to cover what I need...

Got my new barrel in this afternoon, and I think I know the source of my FTF problems!
The top side of the feed ramp isn't too bad...here it is compared to the new one on the bottom... http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c209/M2Repsol/Guns/IMG_3732.jpg But check out the burr on the bottom!

| I had a problem with my barrel loosening up over several hundred rounds repeatedly. After disassembly and inspection of my block, I found trash left over from tapping it. I lightly faced off that surface with an endmill and used lapping compound to mate the two surfaces until they have full contact. After that, along with some red locktite, I've never had one come loose again and I feel it shoots straighter than ever. Fixed alot of annoyances. |

where did you get barrel from? They guy who sold me the rifle had a spare. I think you can get them from ATI, but they weren't very responsive to an email I sent them about the cocking lever that broke on mine... |
