| Yeah, I called them about it a few weeks ago. They told me the list of purchased GSD-5's versus the list of manufactured GSD-5 was grossly disproportionate (I was at the end of a very long line for a very small quantity). Due to the ATI/HK ruling, and other hilarious HK lawsuits Gemtech probably won't pursue making more. Most likely due to the ATI lawsuit deadline passing (aka no more old style complete GSG-5's are allowed for importation and must be the new model). Granted you can always use a parts kit to upgrade, but that's up to the end user as technically.... it's breaking HK's patent, copy write, blah blah etc. So, if you got one, lucky you. There are less than 100 in the world made by Gemtech, collectors items for sure. |

Great looking weapon! Is the suppressor able to be taken apart for cleaning? We all know how dirty .22LR's can be. No, it is a sealed intragal can. But it has to be one of the largest volume .22LR cans I have ever seen. It would take 10k's of rounds before you would need to send it to Gemtech for cleaning in my opinion. |

I thought it was a user serviceable monocore can. That's disappointing news, I won't be needing one. |
