The ATI GSG branded mags are definitely higher quality, but, I have 2 promags and they work just fine.
The promags sometimes require a bit of work to make them function flawlessly.

Only one mag out there and thats the stock ones.....promag makes the paperweights that do look like GSG mags

I would agree that 99% of the mags made by ProMag make dandy paperweights but many of us (myself included) have had very good luck with the GSG-5 ProMag magazines. The only issue I've encountered is that they don't reliably engage the bolt hold open device on the last round.... but I can live with that.

For the price exchange of 3PM=2GSG I could handle that too.

I have 5 of the promag mags and they have all functioned flawlessly right out of the package. On the other hand, the factory mag that came with the gun caused a ftf on the first time I used it ( about the tenth round ). The promags don't separate along the seams like the factory one does when they are at full capacity. I honestly like the PMs better. I know PM doesn't make very good mags for alot of other guns, but I think they got the GSG-5 mags right.

Just my personal opinion.....

This. Have 5 factory and two Pro Mags. The Pro Mags would not function at all. Had to strip them down and sand every edge and runnel until they worked. Took two hours of hand work but they finally functioned. You get what you pay for.

Just to add insult to injury on the cpl. i bought.....i called promag and requested them send me the "supposedly" improved stronger/thicker wired springs.....they took numerous times to be reminder after i was told they were shipping asap....finally get them and what a joke.  Literally zero improvement

I am praying that the drum finally gets it and properly functions....then me a the GSG are on like donkey kong

I was looking at the ProMag myself, until I ran across www.CDNNInvestments.com  There you can find factory GSG magazines for $22 each.   I bought three on one day sale for $19.99 plus $5.99 shipping.  I couldn't even find ProMags at that price.

I ordered some last weekend also, but haven't heard anything past the order confirmation.  I hope they fill the order, it is a great deal.

I ddin't hear anything for nearly a week and a half.  When I was about to call CDNN, the magazines appeared in my mailbox.  The invoice reflected the adjusted shipping cost.
