I have a carbine that I SBR'd and was wondering if there is anyway to get the front end of a PK so I can switch back and forth. Just kicking around the idea and I don't have to buy another gun and then go through the trouble to sbr a pistol. I know its not a quick change but I think it would be nice to be able to do if I am in the mood to run something shorter.

Call Chris at  ATI. You would need the cocking tube and guts to it, the barrel, a shorter set screw for the barrel, and a forearm. I'm quessing your looking at $100 - $125 to do it. You are right, it will not be a quick change.
My opinion, buy the PK, sbr it and not worry about if everything is adjusted correct, and there is no chance of stripping, cross threading, or breaking screws. Just my 2 cents

Thank you I might just have to give him a call and see what it will cost. As far as getting a pk I have thought about it but I already sbr'd the carbine and don't want to do another form 1 on another 22lr.
