Any ETA on the kits to upgrade our GSG-5's to the new SD model? The more I stare at my skinny, fake suppressor, I am tempted to file the paperwork to make it a short-barrel rifle. The wait is killing me!

Looks like the MP5SD but I think fuctionally there is no difference between GSG-5 and GSG-5SD

I asked this same question in the "Upcoming GSG Products and Information" section and Chris estimated the middle of November as a possibilty on their availability.

All GSG MP-5 Products not in the country right now are on hold until we know the result of the lawsuit.  Sorry guys.

I was putting off purchasing a GSG 5SD until money wasn't so tight, but with this news I guess I better suck it up and make that purchase now before there's none on the shelves

I must admit, this whole situation has me second guessing my purchase of my GSG-5. I have been patiently waiting for my SD upgrade kit since the early part of the year. Now, I fear my rifle will become a safe queen and I'll end up getting a 10/22 or a .22lr upper. This is whole situation is disheartening.

Should these kits become unavailable, isn't there another company that makes the SD conversion. I could swear there was a link in one of the posts. Looked damn good too.
