I've had at least two instances of what I thought were double tap firings in my stock  2nd Gen GSG-5.  It was so quick that it was almost one sound, but I assume that was what was happening.  Anybody else encountering this?

Will the ATF be knocking at my door soon?

Check that the barrel has not moved back at and is not sticking out of the back of the block. If the screws loosen and barrel slides back at all it can cause bumpfiring.

i had this with my sd a couple of months back when it was new - it wasnt bumpfiring more like full auto, maybe once every 2 mags, i put it down to some roughness on the sear or something, either way a few more hundred rounds through and the problem went away

Yeah... it was more like that.  Brand new rifle.... second time out firing it... not every mag.    I'll keep shooting and see if it goes away.  And I'll look to see if the barrel has backed up any.

Barrel and breech block issue. I have had your problem on multiple occasions before and after sending it to ATI.
