I've been looking for a rail system for my GSG-5 and have found that there's really nothing out there that doesn't need (or has been) modified to fit. I found one of these at my local Gander Mountain. It says it is for the MP-5 and I'm wondering... will this fit my GSG?

| I don't know for sure but I would tend to doubt that any rail system designed to fit on a real MP5 would fit onto the GSG without minor (or major) modifications. I do know that the stock GSG forend will not mount on an MP5, nor will the MP5 forend fit a GSG without mods. |

I know about those (and I probably will), but I was just wondering about the others because they are on the shelf where I could pay cash and have it in hand immediately. I don't like patience... it takes too long.  l

I hear what you're saying. I don't have a lot of patience either. However my experience has shown that a my frustration levels grow even bigger if I get something that doesn't fit and I have to return it or if I lack the tools and skills to make it fit!!!
