it started with a SD shroud but it was to long for me liking so i cut it down about 1 inch.

any plans for a front foregrip? are there provisions for one? would one defeat the purpose of the setup you have now??? the install is ez you just take off the fake can, front sling eyelet, front hand guard and swap out the barrel retaining screw and slide on the new shroud. my shroud was about .780 to long so i cut it apart and re made it so the shroud meets up with the barrel. imagine if the fake can that came on the gsg-5 was .780 longer the barrel would be kinda recessed in the fake can like it was in the shroud. i kinda have OCD so i had to fix that right away. im pretty sure they molds are set up to make them all like that and to remold would cost a lot of money. imagine the barrel .780 more in the fake can.
