Did the pin swap on my PK, plug and play, two minutes, and didn't need the long pin. Also put together my first AR lower from parts (building a 6.8), dead simple with directions from the ar forum,. I recommend it for those who haven't done it, takes about an hour

I knew you'd have no pin troubles. For those who need to fit the long pin - just go slow and don't over do it. It needs to be snug! I've wondered about assembling my own lower - glad to hear it's not too tough.

Eventually I will be picking up an ICS folder (PK PDW-style). I know I need two "short pins" for the lower, but how about that particular stock? Will I need to enlarge the hole? An experience with these?

No idea -sorry, but you've got pins on hand to compare. I can put together whichever variation you need. Thanks, George

You'd only use the long pin if you had the rifle and wanted to use it on the buttstock.  The small pin will work on the P and PK endcaps.
