| The manual only addresses windage adjustment on the rear sight, mine is shooting @ 12" high at 75 yards. How do I set the elevation? |
|
Quoted: I noticed that mine has the 3 apertures in the rear barrel sight drilled at different heights. I don't know if this is a newer feature or not though. Which ones are these? Mine is still unfired pending this weekend but I did see the extra bag of front sight posts. |

Quoted: Zman - on the factory rear sight.....you can rotate it to either use the "V" cut or one of the 3 small apertures. Those apertures are actually at different heights relative to the top of the barrel, hence the POA moves up slightly as the aperture gets higher. Oh that one. Huh, I thought those holes were for accuracy not elevation. ![]() |

I found the packet of sight posts.. and swapped for the tallest one many thanks to you all. The only problem is that even with the highest post setting it is still shooting low. If I am wrong, some one tell me ???........But the tallest post would make your gun shoot low, the shortest post would make your gun shoot high?! |

That is correct, the tallest post will lower your shots by lowering your barrel relative to your sight picture; shorter posts will raise your barrel and hence raise your hits on the target. |
