I just purcahsed that one in the link off ebay for $28.00 total with shipping. Hopefully it's not a total piece.

I dunno what brand the $28 one is, but the more expensive CA one is what i pictured above. It fit well with absolutly no modification, works well (well enough for looking cool anyway ) and feels sturdier than the factory forearm. I'm very happy with it!

I too had purchased one of the cheapo ($24.00) flashlight equipped fore-ends from Evike and am very happy with it. This was model R-C106 Air Sport Gun Accessory and likely the same one that you've purchased. It attached perfectly to the GSG with no modifications. It comes with a xenon 90 lumen lamp which was very bright but not bright enough for me, so I upgraded the lamp assembly (drop in) to a CREE R2 270 lumen LED which I picked up for under $15.00. I also coated the inside of the fore grip with about an 1/8 layer of epoxy just to give the grip a really sturdy feel.

Actually, I have not done the lower mod yet. Still waiting for the backordered lower from Evike described as "MP5 Navy Lower Receiver Body for ICS/Marui Automatic Electric MP5". What you see are only labels. Read all about it here; http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=41&t=271881

That is the original selector......and the original lower. It's amazing what you can do with well placed labels.

So I gotta ask.....the light for the forearm is probably a 1" (25mm), so do you think that a laser would fit in its place? Hmmmmmmmmmm

On the CA I have it is the same thread as a Surefire G2 I actually put it on one time with 3 batteries and a P?? bulb for 105 lumens for over 1 Hr. or 200 for 20 min. just stuck out too far for the short barrel.
