I couldn't be happier with my new GSG 5. I went into this purchase VERY leery as to the quality of firearm I would be getting and with just one range trip under my belt my little GSG 5 really exceeded my expectations. I put about 350 rounds through her today and not one malfunction. Accuracy was great too! All 3 mags that came with the purchase functioned 100% and I must say I think this is my new most favorite plinker. I didn't think that it held squat compared to my little SBR spikes AR upper, but I must say that I really think it was more fun to shoot. I was so impressed that I came home, cleaned her thoroughly, replaced all the factory bolts and screws with the new set I got from the EE, added a buffer to the cocking tube and put on a brand new CA retractable stock (this was a great purchase as it locks up tight and fit like a glove). Now all I need is for my Hk push pins to arrive and she will be complete. Thanks for the info from this thread. It was really what made me take the leap to get an expensive .22, but I must say it was well worth it!!
