I spoke with Ray Caton (ATI's Master Gunsmith) for a little over a half an hour this morning. My God, this guy has the best customer service and technical knowledge of his product its unbelievable.

I told him there was a huge desire and need for him to become a member our our fourm so he can aid in the knowledge of ATI's products and to provide critical insight into repairs & answer warranty questions.

I propose to Jackal that we start a sticky when Ray signs up so we can ask him technical questions etc. Ray agreed this would save him a lot of time when it comes to answeriing questions so the masses can see them. This will divert a large number of emails and phone calls he has to take in a days time and put his hands back on our guns that he is working on.

I look forward to Ray's presence on here, it will increase the customer service even further from the exceptional service we have had from Chris so far. This will keep us in closer touch with Ray day to day and open up the lines of communication even further so we can better understand our rifles and the solutions to the problems we are having.

Ray, a big thumbs up too you for bringing your gunsmithing skills to Afrcom. It's been a pleasure to deal with you and your professionalism.

I Emailed Ray today about some warranty issues and I can't praise them enough. My forearm was cracked at the bolt hole and they are sending me a new one. I asked him about the slap fire issue and he is believes the wrong firing pin/spring was installed at the factory. He is sending a new one with the forearm. They replied to me in under 24 hours and are taking care of me no questions asked. I wish more companies had customer service like them. I am very pleased they are coming to arfcom.

I have yet to even shoot my carbine (this Saturday I hope!) and I can tell you right now that this kind of customer support is just outstanding!

With times as tough as they are, I have to be really careful with my money at every turn. So $500 for a 22 that I really did not need sure looks a lot better when I see to what length ATI is going to in supporting their product and their customers.

I've already started a little stash set aside for the 1911 as a Christmas present for next year.

So thank you Christopher, and thanks to you too Ray, in advance!

I got a feeling the GSG is going to be in it for the long haul now, this tipped the scales for me.

Well played ATI.

But, he's going to be bombarded with numerous questions asked over and over and over again...he may never be able to do warranty work again

This is a play on the retort to the hypocrisy shown by the elite libtards. For example, Fienstein had a CCW for years, yet she denied that basic right to thousands of the "common" citizens. Common citizens = "unwashed masses".

Clear as mud now?
