| Would love to hear some reviews on the accuracy of the GSG5 rifle. I'd also like to see some target pics. What's your best group? |

Using a red dot, I was able to get around a 3-4" group @ 50 yards (not feet!). This was casual shooting & not benchresting the gun & shooting slowly.
While the gun will never match my Marlin's or Browning T-Bolt for accuracy, it does make up for any shortcomings with the added fun factor. Seems like a decent trade, IMO. |

I think that a better representation would be a super impose of the groups on a picture of a skull, or center mass, etc...etc... 40 yards, with a fake EOtech 552 Off hand, low ready stance, double tap - 1 full mag http://www.pantip.com/cafe/gallery/topic/G7430486/G7430486-64.jpg |

Man!!....all the hate.......makes my questionable post seem........well, not so questionable?
I choose to believe Boomka,....you'd have to be pretty low to fake a target pic......so I'll give em' the benefit of the doubt. Besides my 5p almost does the same. I have a 10/22 that will hit quarters stuck to plywood w/ bubble gum all day long at 100 yards. The10/22 was my 12th birthday present, I'm 40 now!! it has a tac solutions barrel..thats it....Never get rid of your first gun!!! |

I've got three other very "average" groups there and one great one. The OP wanted to see "best groups" and there it is, not my problem < searching for an ignore button but not finding it lol > |

Gotta remember 'em. |

I believe 11/16.
While sighting in my .243 varmint gun at 100yds, the Old Man saw a fly in the spotting scope on the target in the lower left. He told me to take a shot at it. I figured he was just having one of those "We used to smoke "rope" under the front porch back in the 30's" moments. Since the gun was dead nuts 1" high at 100yds, I aimed at the grid directly below it and BANG. My Dad started hootin and hollerin "YOU GOT HIM!" LMFAO! "Right Dad" Looking at the target, there was the hole, surrounded by blood, with a wing stuck to the paper. <GULP> That's when you just pack up everything and go home. That target ended up pinned to my cubicle back in my Washington DC office. One day my supervisor, we'll call him Richard Cranium, was looking at the target and said, "Wow, you put all those shots really close, but what's up with the one way down there?" I told him that was a fly at a hundred yards, or him at a mile.... So Boomka, yeah, I believe the 11/16... BTW, save the BS Flags, I swear this is true on the soul of my Dad.... |

I hate being called a liar.
It really pushes my buttons. I got this earlier today, from a certain party, who shall remain nameless, to spare them further embarassment. I don't have a beef with you so I won't embarras you on the forum. Maybe you forgot that "Fresh out of the box" the front sight post was an 1/8th inch short resulting in point of impact being 4-6 inches higher than point of aim at 50 yards. Given that fact, the 4 inch target you were shooting at would have not appeared in your sight picture AT ALL. In fact if you lower your sights to compensate for the POA/POI the target would have appeared a very small ball floating above your ghost ring!! No point of reference for aiming....Hmmm If bloomka was shooting 5 shot groups as he claims, when you add the flyer to the 11/16 inch 4 shot group it swells to almost 3 inches. If you look closely you could claim a 2 shot 1/2 inch group at 100 yds on the very same target....Where does the embellishment end with you people? By the way your cowboy philosophy smacks of Mark Twain,so deep yet so inconsequential......I think ....therefore I am.......I think...... My reply Title = Not interested I got your email earlier - I find your statements only slightly amusing, but calling me a liar? To quote my Uncle Bob, "Them's fightin' words." Believe what you must, but the day that you have the temerity to call me a liar, without actually knowing what's going on, is the day that I choose to end all commerce with you. Don't email me again. If you have something to say to me, say it publicly in one of the forums. Just like this is about to be. I'm one of the fortunate few that has had ZERO issues with my GSG5 - I've got better than 15K rounds through it, and aside from minor flubs (ascribed to bulk ammo) - it runs flawlessly. |
Dare I suggest we skip the dick measuring contest, gentlemen?
Someone shot a nice group. Either believe it or don't, the choice is yours. But if you do choose to doubt it, then be kind enough to not drag the pettiness of the GenDis Forum in here, ok? In fact, go shoot your own target & get a smaller group. |

Come to think of it, Boomka, studying your groups......... If you had one of those "Rabid Killer Bees" comin' straight at ya........well you might of clipped a wing with that flyer off the 1 5/16 group.......so maybe ya should get a more accurate gun DB&G.... Just in case anyone was confused with this post^^^.....I was just bustin' Boomka's chops for only gettin' one in the center circle......His groups are great!! If a bee is coming at ya,...put down the GSG,...pick up the tennis racket......certain enemies require certain tactical weapons!! |

In fact, go shoot your own target & get a smaller group. I agree. Plus, what kind of loser would fake accuracy claims for forum cred. We all know the rough capabilities and shortcomings of this weapon, and anybody can put together a nice grouping with enough time on their hands. Next |

Here is my attempt. I didn't use sandbags, only rested my arms on my bench. I put a Bushnell 3-9x40 which is set for 50yds, and I was shooting at 25yds so things were not in good focus. This was shot using Federal 550 bulk pack HP's, 20 rounds. With better ammo and a scope that is in focus it will do a lot better!
