Is the use of de-chlorinated brake cleaner ok?   I just got my GSG the other day so I'm a bit behind on the learning curve.

I use it only on the breech-housing once removed from the receiver.  It gets all the powder residue flushed out of there.

Gun Scrubber is a great product.  Hight pressure spray cleaner available everywhere that has gun stuff, including WalMart.  I use it as my primary cleaner for breech housing and slide, trigger assembly and chamber ramp area.  Don't get it on the plastic parts though.  It does come in a Synthetic safe formula,  for those who want avoid total takedown.      Keep that breech housing and breech face clean (firing pin, extractor etc) and she'll run perfect.
