I have read and reviewed several threads, but they are text only.  I have an SEF lower on the way and before tackling and reinventing the wheel thought I would ask:

is there a how to thread with pictures out there on installing this grip to the GSG-5?

Technically, what I got was the CA MP5 A3 grip (SEF selections).

Any info appreciated.

Shoulda got the ICS lower rather than the CA, the ICS is easier to adapt, probly took me less than an hour.

I was wondering, With people having 'troubles' with various FUDDS, might swapping the lower be not such a great idea?  The faux suppressor can be unscrewed, however, I dont think "No officer, its single fire, here, let me pop off a few rounds for you," is going to work.

What "troubles"?

For instance, the gentleman in GA that was detained for possession of a GSG and the person in NY who 'almost got arrested for his GSG.'  I mean if you are own your own range, it wouldnt be a big deal.  But if you were at a club or pay-for range, I could understand someone catching a glimpse of the selective fire and be curious.

The GA "incident" was nothing more than old farts complaining, no action was taken.
The GA incident could have gone just the same if he had been in possession of a bag of talcum powder.
BOTH of these incidents were apparently with bone-stock GSG-5s, I won't bother worrying.
