Do you think the new president will ban the importation on the GSG

Nobody knows. If you want one, why wait? The biggest reason I purchased the GSG was not the fear that somebody might ban it but because it is a high fun-factor gun.

I doubt it... our import guru Aric tells me that it (the GSG-5) being a rim fire rifle gives us a very good chance of dodging whatever bullets of that nature get fired at us.

thats why i think with all the threats of ammo taxes & bans, the 22lr might be the safest bet in the future,if you dont have a gsg & want one, i would highly recommend it,its the coolest 22 to come along in a long time..
