I want to get a GSG-5 and SBR it and add a supressor, but I also want to be able to use the supressor on a P22.

I really like the look of the 3-lug QD mount when the supressor is not on, but i dont have to have that.

What is the best setup for this situation?

Also, is the flash hider on the pistol version removable?

You can get an adaptor that exposes a 1/2x28 (I think) thread on the end of the barrel...get a supressor that mounts on that (GemTech is the recommendation). Most P22 adapters are also the same thread pattern...

Yes, the flash hider on the pistol screws right off.

I use the Gemtech adapter on my GSG5 and use either my Gemtech Outback II or an A2 flash hider on it.
