I would have to agree, with all the mods I have seen it would be crazy not to offer barrels.

Try the new GemTech barrels. I got one and a Tri-lug adapter and the thing is better than the factory barrels! Cost is $150 and screws right in.
I was going to do a range report on them but the SBR gun sold before I could get a chance to go and shoot it!
