Hey all first off just want to say this site has been a lifesaver for me as far as the gsg5 goes, thanks for all the help!

I am wanting to put a lo pro scope mount, scope, and vertical foregrip on mine. Obviously I'm looking for quality products that are fairly easy to install. Are the manufacturers products worth getting or should I look elsewhere? It seems that eveywhere is sold out of all accessories, where have you all been having luck finding them? As for the scope I'd like a red dot but the astigmatism in my eyes doesnt really like the red dot, any suggestions? Thanks again!

WELCOME!!!
As far as your eyes with the red dot there are several out there that have green dots just be careful I have herd that some of the cheap Aimpoint clones that are red/green dots have problems.I have a Bushnell on a different gun that I paid ~$90 for new that would be fine. For a scope mount just stay away from the $10-15 dollar ones heard bad about them also. For all your parts you will just have to look around the popular items don't seem to stay in stock long if you find a part you like get the manufacturer # and do a search on the internet might find it elseware.

For the front quadrail I STRONGLY recommend the Classic Army. It is an easy modification ( if you have access to a bandsaw it will take you all of five minutes to get the job done ) and is rock solid when done. Scope mounts I don't know except DON'T buy this one:

It sucks, note the style of manufacture ( screws that go straight into the side ) since it is sold under many names. I had to work and work just to get it to a state of "fair". I have since ordered a different one and will give that one a try.

I have one that looks like that.
Got it through amazon about $15 shipped.
No directions, only fits on one way, works fine.

Mine required a great deal of Dremeling just to get it to go on over the top, the screws never even came close to tightening it down and once I made spacers for the claw type clamps so that it DID tighten it was still cocked to the right.

NcStar makes a bunch of optics that might work for you, I am using the one that looks like the DR. sight. You can also find scopes that have illuminated cross hairs. As far a a Vertical grip (Forward Down) Most of the Airsoft stores should carry different models. From what I hear from the stores is that the Chinese manufacturers are way behind and dealers are getting parts sporadically. Check on the accessory thread and look on-line at most of the airsoft companies some might have what you are looking for. I also used the CA low profile site on mine and it is tight and sturdy.

I got one that looks like that from Steve at Adco.

I think it was around 20 bucks.  Fits perfect, no problems.

Foregrip Question??

Does anyone have and or know if this forearm will work on a GSG without
doing any mods??  It's listed under GSG accessories however i'm not sure
that means anything anymore..

That's the Classic Army RIS just like mine.
You saw off about 2 inches of rail on the ejector port side and a very small cut to the mounting collar and you will be VERY happy with it I promise!

Did you fire the rifle before you cut off the section on the ejection side? I haven't shot mine yet w/ the the new forarm on. I pretty sure the it is blocking it a little, hopefully I'll find out this week.
