I am just curious as to what kinds of ammo others of you are running through your GSG's. Since I had a day before my registration went through I had some time to go through all 18 pages of the GSG section and I notice alot of you are using the Wallyworld federal. So far I have run nothing through mine but CCI ammo. Are there any particular brands to stay away from? I am getting ready to order a bunch of different ammo from CTD and was looking into the Wolf Match, has anyone had any experience with it? |

I run 99% CCI through all my .22's. That being said I ran a few mags of Federal bulk through my GSG last Sat. with no problems. The only ammo I have had problems with was when a friend ran some Remington gold bullets through it. We had quite a few ftl, and fte's. Ammo I have ran with no problems: CCI Green Tag CCI Standard Velocity CCI mini Mags CCI stingers CCI subsonic HP's Federal bulk pack Ammo I had problems with: Remington bulk pack gold bullets You may have different results but that's what has worked for me so far |

I've had great results with CCI Stingers. I've had good results with the Remington Golden Bullet 550 pack. I have some of the Federal Bulk pack to try at my next range visit (I finally found it in stock). Stay away from the Winchester Bulk pack at Wallyworld. Not enough power to reliably cycle the GSG-5. |
| I tried the Remington 550 bulk pack from Walmart today and had at least 2 jams with each magazine. About 10 misfeeds overall today. This was my first time trying to shoot it so I am a little dissappointed. I will try to loosen the mag follower and try the federal next. |

Dont fark with your mags ......... throw that remington bullshit out and buy a box of the Federal bulk ....... that Remington is great ...... for singleshots |
| The Wal-Mart Fed 55-rd bulk pack copper 36-gr HPs seem to work okay, as do the American Eagle 40-gr lead and Rem golden bullets in the 550-rd bulk box. I will get an occasional FTF or FTE, but consistent with the general nature of low-cost 22-cal ammo. The Rem Thunderbolt ammo is the lowest quality 22-cal ammo that I have used with at least 3-to-5 problems per box of 50. |

| Only thing I've put through mine were four boxes of Federal bulk pack from Walmart, maybe about 15-20 problems, about half of them were light strikes and the other half were failure to feed, which happened on the third box I tried to put through it without cleaning it. That problem went away when I followed the cleaning steps in the manual, putting a whole other box through it without one FTanything |
