I walked in to my local gun store and special ordered my GSG-5 on 4/19, expecting to wait a month or two. Three days later, I got a call saying it would be in on 5/1. Well, the guy was wrong. It delivered on 4/30 and I paid MSRP! I took it to the range yesterday and put 500 rounds of CCI 40gr non-HV through. The sights were pretty close right out of the box. Elevation was perfect, and windage was just a little to the left. After adjusting windage, we were knocking out the centers at 25 yards. This was an indoor range, so that's the max distance I could shoot at. One failure to fire (dud), and two failure to feeds - but both times it was because I had my hand on the magazine. I haven't had that much fun at the range in a long time! I'm sure that only having to spend $18 total for the day helped! |
