I placed a GSG-5 on order at Impact Guns but then became impatient and also ordered one from AJC Sports in Clute, Texas, after hearing about them here. The one from Texas arrived today. Optics I ordered two $10.46 MP5/G3 Gun Rail Mounts from DealExtreme. If I could have found better mounts I would have bought them but someone here said that these $10.46 mounts work fine. I wish I could just keep it in irons but folks say that the stock sights are not adjustable enough. Next step is to figure out which optics will fit on the DealExtreme rail. Magazines I've ordered: Four from "Max-OH" on the EE, and a box of ten from GunBroker. The idea is to be able to preload enough magazines for a nonstop fun session. Why Two? I am going to get two because I want to introduce more friends into the sport with something fun and with .22 we can shoot all day for almost free, and they don't have to hear .308 going off in their ears because I'll be shooting the same weapon as I teach them. Also, having two helps with parts cannabilism while waiting for a part to arrive. |

I bought mine from AJC also but back in February when they first hit the market. AJC sells at all the local shows and usually has a few on their table. I'll probable get another one but I'm going to wait til the bum rush is over. Hopefully GSG will keep importing these for a while. |
