Has anyone tried to accomplish decent groups with the lil clone? I'm aware it may not be as accuratte as other .22lr rifles, but this being arfcom and since many of us are buying one, a range report (with pictures) wouldn't hurt! I'm amazed no one posted one yet. Me, i'm getting the SBR version but I still would like to see what the 16 inchs version can do OFF A BENCH, SCOPED WITH MAGNIFICATION AND USING DECENT AMMO. HUNTER. |

Actually there have been a few. Some with and some without pics. In all it really depends on who is pulling the trigger. Shooters can get good groups while plinkers tend to like the "empty the clip" runs and are happy with target hits. Personally I have obtained fine three shot combos with open sights out to 50 yards. I call fine as touching or a hairs width apart. We had targets out to 100 yards when sighting in the hunting rifles and scored 22 hits in the round (8" Shoot-n-See) targets so accuracy is possible. Now, they were not all in the space of a quarter but that's not bad at all. Its all in the discipline of the shooter and the training (or not) that exists. Now slap some optics on it and I am sure you can shoot whatever you plan to all day long.... Echo |

I am getting 2.5" groups at 50 meters with a 4MOA BSA Red Dot. Oh yeah, that's a 20 shot group. Very repeatable. Every group would have a flyer taking it out that big. Discarding the flyer it would be 2" groups for 20 shots. The ammo is Wally World Rem Golden Bullet HP Bulk Pack. Fed Champion Bulk Pack strings vertically and exceeds 4". |
