ok, so im sure most of you saw my post about missing the rear sight adjustment screw...

wew, SCG never gave me an answer so I emailed GSG direct and told them and they sent me the screw...they actually sent me 3 adjustment screws and 3 of the set screws you crank down after you get it adjusted (so if anyone needs one let me know)...

ANYWAY..here is what I need to know...

is there a square nut that goes on the side or is it just a screw..there is a little square recess on the side of the rear sight that looks like a nut goes there?

when i emailed them i told them i nedded the screw AND nut, but they did not send a nut so mabey there is not one, please someone check and let me know...

WELL FUCK!!!

here is my problem, im a jackass...here is a section from the email I sent them:

> I am an American customer. I bought the GSG-5 threw
> Scottsdale Gun Club. When I recieved it I checked
> over everything to make sure it was alright. I
> noticed it was missing the rear sight adjustment screw
> and bolt (the flathead screw that goes in sideways).
> I am assuming it fell off somewhere is transit. Since
> this is a new gun in the USA, there are no spare
> parts, can you guys please send me the screw and
> bolt???

notice i said "bolt" not "nut"...and the way i worded it they probobly thought i ment i needed both screws not just the side screw and nut...son of a bitch...

if there is no nut, then im good, if there is one can someone take a pic for me please so i can see what i need to look for at the hardware store...

No nut.  The head of the adjustment screw fits in the slot on the bottom of the sight base.  Start the windage screw into the reciever.  Then just drop the sight down and make sure the screw head is in the slot and then snug down the top screw.

DUH!!! OMG I feel like a dumn ass...

as soon as you said that it clicked and i realized that made total sence...

at least i dont have to worry about a missing part!!!

thx for the answer, now i can sleep easy knowing I have a complete gsg...

even though I was only missing a tiny screw it bothered me that i payed that much and was missing a part...

anyway a big +1 for GSG, i emailed them and they got the missing part right out to me...

that realy makes me wonder how i could have been msiing it in the first place as there is no way for that screw to fall out since it is in the recess...o well, i got it now, and several extras!!!
