Has anyone had any "recent" contact with Busse?

I have a knife on order (since April) and I figured they should be in the delivery window by now.

Lexi's e-mail bounced, info@busse bounced and they haven't answered my "contact us" via their website.

Anyone know if they are still doing OK or...?

Uh oh. Busse has (or maybe had) a strong presence over on bladeforums.com. Might want to hop over there to see what's going on with them.

Apparently they have been somewhat overwhelmed recently (LINK).  That's no reason not to answer e-mail though.  A good product with shit customer service is a recipe for a downward spiral...

Don't fret.

You will get your knife.

When you get charged for it is time to start looking for it to get there.

Busse has been pushing "operation two weeks" where they sold a bunch of stuff, one style two price classes, with every two weeks a new model offered.

Now they are producing those knives and filling orders.

It is just the name of the game with Busse combat.

If you don't like it or don't want it by the time you get It....you shouldn't have a problem getting it sold for what you paid.

Just don't sharpen it or get it a sheath (sharpening is a distraction for the collectors, and sheaths typically don't make them sell better or for more unless you get a really spendy one and you will still take a hit on it).

Oh, and you won't get charged till it is almost going to ship so don't worry that they will disappear with your $.  Not their style and all that.

This PITA process you are experiencing is precisely the reason I buy my Busse-kin 2nd hand.  I get them faster, they exist when I buy it (already made), and all that.

I had orders that were due in 2015 that I finally gave up on back in June and canceled.  I really like some of their designs but I might as well buy them on the secondary market because it's less hassle.

I ordered my tglb in 2013, it took about 6 weeks. They seem to be a stand up company, you should be OK op.

Lexi doesn't work there anymore so thats why the email came back.  Just call them, they have answered every time I've called them during their business hours.  Here is their number: PH: (419) 923-6471 or email them at
[email protected]

Its pretty standard to have to wait for a knife for them.  I've waited over a year before on a knife from them, they are worth the wait IMO.

[email protected] is Lexis replacement. I don't know how closely you follow Busse but they are pretty backlogged from operation 2 weeks where they introduced a new blade(s) every week from mid 2015 to mid 2016 and contract orders. they are a stand up company and you will get your blade but they are way behind.
