When looking at busse knives what does battle grade refer to? Does it mean different steel than their usual infi steel?
Thanks. I'm just now starting to look at them.

The Battle Grades use SR-101 steel and are typically coated.

Unless you're buying off the shelf, be prepared to wait several months...and a few months more for a sheath (from a 3rd party vendor who won't have the knife to use as a model until you do).

Thanks for the info! Picking up a new used busse.  No need for a sheath because I make custom sheaths on the side.

Yep. SR101 is no joke. I just bounced my Rodent 9 off the concrete . No edge damage
