the Anubis is a standard model offering, but i haven't had time to build one for myself.  i made this one from bits and pieces around the shop while waiting on a materials shipment.  you can see the mis-matched hardware on this one.  W2 tool steel for the blade with a patterned acid etch finish.  handle is copperhead micarta with a bronze anodized ti frame side.  clip is ti as well, it gets anodized and installed today.  a big fella at 10" open and 5.5" closed with a 4.5" blade.  last pic shows the Anubis with a Kershaw Launch for size comparison.

much appreciated.  this is the first one i have done with anodized titanium.  i really like the flexibility to change the colors to suit the other half of the handle.  here it is with the ti clip installed.  i will match the hardware one of these days.

I do love that blade style it is reminiscent of one of my other faves, the old Pantera by Todd Begg.

i appreciate the kind words.  i have always liked recurve blades.  they just work well for me.  this model and a new flipper design are some of the first new folders for this year.  always liked the big frame lock designs, just never got around to making them until lately.   the standard offerings with be a bit more conservative in appearance.  black micarta/bronze ti handle and 154CM stainless blades.  everything goes with black, right?  i forgot to even take good pics of the first standard run of this design, so i thought you fellas might like to see what we were up to these days.
